Michelle Fogg Neal, DDS
Michelle Neal, born and raised near New Orleans, Louisiana, is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She moved to the Northwest with her husband, Dr. Craig Neal, after receiving her specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Neal is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, the Northwest Orthodontic Study Club and is an advisor for Insight Seminars Seattle Study Club. She has also been a Premier Invisalign Provider since 2007. She has been featured in Orthodontic Products Magazine, and has been voted Best Orthodontist by 425 Magazine, Seattle Met Magazine and Best of Kirkland by Commerce Association. Dr. Neal has also been featured on New Day Northwest, a local morning show on King 5.
One of Dr. Neal’s goals is to become an integral part of the Eastside Community. She has shown her commitment by participating in various community service projects through the Kirkland Rotary and by coaching youth soccer in the LWYSA and BYSA. Dr. Neal graduated at the top of her dental school class and received many awards for her academic achievement, including the Chancellor’s Award for most outstanding student. Dr. Neal was also selected for the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary fraternity and was president of the C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Her specialty training included participation in the craniofacial anomaly/cleft lip and palate team at Children’s Hospital. She is associated with several local and national dental and orthodontic societies, and continues to bring the latest advancements in technology to her practice by participating in regular continuing education.
Dr. Neal is a native of Slidell, LA, where she grew up on a farm with chickens, horses, cows, pigs, and bird dogs. Dr. Neal now lives in Bellevue with her husband who is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an office in Kirkland. Dr. Neal and her husband are a team that does many jaw surgery, implant, and traditional orthodontic cases together. Her husband came down to Louisiana for his medical school training and his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency and swept her off her feet to the Northwest, which she loves!
Dr. Neal and her husband have two children who are the loves of their lives. Their children keep them busy with Eastside sports and through volunteering at their school, Bellevue Christian. Dr. Neal’s other family members include a black lab named Shadow and a cat named Imo, who moved up here with them from New Orleans.
Dr. Neal and her husband both started playing tennis after the birth of their second child. They absolutely love tennis, and when they have some free time, they can usually be found on the tennis court. They also love boating in the summer and visiting fun places with their family. Dr. Neal’s dad played football for LSU, so she also loves watching college football.
